Lebenslauf

Timo Prölß studied from 2016 to 2022 „Chemical Engineering – Sustainable Chemical Technologies“ at FAU. He wrote his master thesis on the topic „Modification of aromatic polymers with ion conducting groups and application in electrochemical cells“ at Helmholtz Institute Erlangen-Nürnberg for Renewable Energy (HI-ERN). Since September 2022 he is working as research associate in the group „Catalytic and Electrocatalytic Systems and Processes“. For his PhD, he is working on the preparation of catalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) in polymer elektrolyte membrane water electrolyzers (PEMWE).
