Resume

Aziz Rehman completed his Bachelor’s studies in chemical engineering from Middle East Technical University. He then went on to earn a Master’s degree in Advanced Materials and Processes from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. During this time, he worked as a student research assistant at the Institute of Biomaterials and later on at the Institute of Chemical Reaction Engineering. His Master’s thesis focused on the electrooxidation of hydroxymethylfurfural. Since January 2022, he has been pursuing his PhD at the Institute of Chemical Reaction Engineering at FAU. His research focuses on the low-temperature dehydrogenation of methanol and subsequent cleaning of the gas. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action.
