Resume

Jan-Paul Grass completed his bachelor’s and master’s in Chemical and Biological Engineering at Friedrich Alexander University between 2011 and 2018. In 2015 during his bachelor’s he joined Rehau Group, Hof, for a five-month internship and 2017 during his master’s hte-BASF, Heidelberg, for a three-month internship. In 2018 he completed his master’s degree with a thesis focused on the synthesis of hierarchical zeolite X in the presence Calcium salts. In October 2018 after his master thesis, he joined the group of Prof. Jiri Cejka in Prague for three months financed by BTHA. Since March 2019, he has been working as a research associate at the Chair of Chemical Reaction Engineering in the working group “Green porous materials and catalysis”. As a part of his doctoral thesis, he investigates the formation and catalytic application of zeolites with layer-like morphology.
